As market shares grow, so does the need for more manufacturing space.
Rock Hog Drilling Products has been growing steadily since 1990. Since then, Rock Hog’s DTH hammers and bits have been manufactured and assembled in our 30,000 square foot facility in Mercersburg Pennsylvania. Every year we continue to grow and have now reached the point of needing to expand. It was decided by the board of directors to add an additional 8,000 square feet to the manufacturing facility where Rock Hog’s DTH hammers and bits are engineered, manufactured and assembled. This addition will accommodate
two new Mazak automated Integrex CNC lathes as well as added space for product inventory and assembly. We are confident these improvements will help to increase productivity and shorten lead times.
During this process, Rock Hog is keeping ISO 14001 standards in mind. Our manufacturing facility is currently ISO 9001 certified and we are working to become ISO 14001 certified. Rock Hog believes these standards have, and will continue to help us in providing the highest quality products to our customers, while remaining environmentally conscious.
